Olympic gold medalist, short-distance world champion, middle-distance world champion, IRONMAN world champion. There's no title in triathlon that Kristian Blummenfelt hasn't won. The dominance and dedication he is racing with is unique. Off the course he is funny and down-to-earth. When you talk to him outside of races, you wouldn't believe the fighting side he is born with.

After fulfilling his childhood dream of winning the Olympic gold medal in 2021, he dominated the middle- and long-distance races around the world. Only to focus on short distance again afterwards. The methods and the scientific approach in training of the Norwegian team are special and well-spoken. Together with his training partner Gustav Iden he is trying to achieve the impossible: success on the short course after focussing on the long course. He would be the first athlete to do so. Kristian Blummenfelt is ready to write history again!

GUSTAV IDEN

2022 Ironman Champion
2021 Ironman 70.3 World Champion
2019 Ironman 70.3 World Champion

He had his breakthrough performance on September 9th 2019. Flying under the radar, he surprised the entire triathlon elite and won the IRONMAN 70.3 World CHampionship - on a road bike. A time trial bike, not to mention a bike sponsor, was not part of his life before. He proved not to be a one-hit-wonder in the next years: he defended his title at the IRONMAN 70.3 World Champs and crowned himself as the King of Kona by becoming IRONMAN World Champion in 2022. He is the first athlete to win in Kona in his debut race. Not only did he win, he won by crushing the all-time course record.
