Kona Diary with Philipp Herber - The Record Holder

Philipp Herber is a real eye-catcher! Not just because of the striking orange jersey he wears as a member of the Zwift Academy, but also because of the impressive pace at which he completes his workouts. Consequently, the 30-year-old set a new record at Ironman Copenhagen in August: 8 hours and 19 minutes. No age-grouper before him has ever been faster! We accompanied Philipp "Pipifax" Herber during his pre-race training session at the Energy Lab.

Josh Lunn accompanied him on his last training session. The Briton had already made headlines the previous weekend by winning the Path Run 10km ahead of Lionel Sanders. This month, he aims to run the Frankfurt Marathon in 2:16 hours.
