Six months of INCYLENCE: How fast did that go?!

Six months of INCYLENCE: How fast did that go?!
Time is always relative. Some days fly by without you even realizing it, while other moments seem to drag on in slow motion. What does it feel like to be in a newly founded company for six months, when everyone involved is bombarded with new experiences and new challenges await every day? In short: It's like the fast-forward button has clicked into place, catapulting you at top speed through a whirlwind of excitement! On December 18th, INCYLENCE celebrates its 6-month sales anniversary. We'll take you along for the ride. A chronology of events:
First month: Let the fun begin
Everything that happened in the first month - to be honest, only a small part of it - we have summarized in our first blog post One Month of INCYLENCE: What has happened so far .
Summer 2018: No time for a hangover
Anyone who thought that after the furious start and parties at Challenge Roth, IRONMAN Frankfurt, and ITU Hamburg, the hangover would set in was mistaken. The Express had no time for boring stopovers and thundered through the hot German summer of 2018: We were sold out – completely! The Hunters couldn't have cared less: Who in their right mind pays a start-up upfront with the prospect of the socks not arriving for weeks? All of you! Amazing! Thank you!
Early August: Delivery from Italy. Our stocks have been replenished.
The pre-order button was probably quite happy to get a break sometime in August. Mail arrived from Italy. Our warehouses were restocked, and it was the same old story as at the very beginning: everyone pitch in, preferably immediately! In assembly-line-like manual labor, hundreds of pre-orders were processed, fulfilled, packed, and shipped. We did it! Let's raise a glass. Cheers!
Collaborations: "Let's do something awesome!"
Always in the back of our minds: collaborations, partnerships, and commitments. Pooling resources and creating something together; we're open to such things, and some projects are already underway: With Daniela Sämmler, we developed her own INCYLENCE Danni Signature cycling and running sock. Completely personal, without compromise. All or nothing! For KAIFU-LODGE , we produced a custom sock. A Hamburg-based fitness and lifestyle club with a cool spirit and laid-back management. We like it, we do it!
Other collaborations are in the pipeline. Something amazing is definitely coming! With people who understand us, who think alike and have high standards. It just has to be the right fit. Let's create something awesome!

No more run-of-the-mill stuff! If you're going to wear a cap, do it right!
It would probably have been pretty easy: quickly print a cap, order a t-shirt, slap on the logo, and off we go! But we didn't want that! We're quite comfortable in our niche, we want to stay focused, not spread ourselves too thin. Accordingly, our expectations for our first snapback were high—an experiment: the material was special, the design was tailored for hunters, and everything was limited edition! We think we succeeded: special mesh, a cool fit. "Made for Performance" is more than just a puffed-up marketing promise. The design: understated by our standards. Why? Because it's primarily intended for those who already like our brand and identify with it. Maybe we'll do something like this again? And if we do, we'll do it right!

"What do we actually do on Black Friday?"
Oh yes, Black Friday. All in black, cool deals. Exclusives on individual models and bundles. No desire for a collective discount frenzy. On the day itself: state of emergency. 7 a.m.: technical problems and ringing phone lines. Half the team absent. Frayed nerves! But it worked out in the end: from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., we fired out deals every three hours. Saturday and Sunday? Non-stop work, processing. First Black Friday done: next premiere, next experiment. A common thread running through it all. Exciting, thrilling, fresh!
Ready for take-off!
And now? What's next? First, Christmas, holidays, a bit of peace and quiet. And after that? Routine and boredom? Not our thing! We've planned ahead, created structures, and worked behind the scenes. Our baby is growing up, entering puberty: a wild phase. Full of action, development, and curiosity. That's exactly how we feel. The roller coaster ride has just ended, and now there's the next one. Bigger, crazier, more exciting! We've got the tickets in our pockets; everything is ready for the next spectacular ride. "Ladies and gentlemen, fasten your seat belts!"
Our street looks similar to this one - with fresh colors on the horizon.
