Endurance athletes train a lot and with great enthusiasm. Ideally, they train in the sun, in varied terrain, and with easy access to training facilities and refreshments. Over the years, several spots around the world have emerged that offer precisely these features at different times of the year, making any training enthusiast's heart beat faster. Over the next few months, we'll be introducing you to different locations for the corresponding seasons. We're starting with a location that impresses during the summer months with its diverse terrain, beautiful climbs, and perfect infrastructure: the Salzburg region surrounding the Mohrenwirt road cycling and triathlon hotel.

During the summer months: Fuschl am See

The sun gradually emerges from the shelter of the mountains, making the crystal-clear water sparkle. Nestled amidst the mountains, Lake Fuschl shines with its characteristic brilliance. One could almost believe the wooden boardwalk leads directly into the crystal-clear ocean of the Caribbean.

There's no doubt about it, Lake Fuschl has a very special charm! A swimmer clearly agrees, as they take three or four steps in the knee-deep water, launch into a dive, transition into a fluid crawl stroke, and slowly but surely disappear from view. Less than a five-minute walk away is the Hotel Mohrenwirt , which has established itself as a paradise for triathletes and cyclists during the summer months.
